Ritu Shah, DMD

Dr. Shah grew up in Utica, NY and went to college in the Albany area. After earning her DMD from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, she completed additional training in Pediatric Dentistry in Rochester at the Eastman Institute for Oral Health. She is board-certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and is an active member of the ADA and AAPD.

She is excited to be back in the Albany area after so many years and working at the Smile Lodge. Dr. Shah is passionate about creating positive dental experiences for her pediatric patients while helping families fend off those pesky cavity-forming sugar bugs! In her free time, she loves exploring in nature, eating great food, and creating/experiencing any type of art.

• What are you most passionate about professionally? Being able to help ALL children achieve great oral health

• What excites you the most about your work? Each visit with a child has small wins that add up to big wins in achieving oral health goals and/or overcoming dental fear
